Yes — we port your existing number for free. The process typically takes 5–10 working days. Your calls won't drop during the switch; we run both in parallel until the port completes.

What if the power goes out or there's an internet outage?

We run UPS battery backup at the hosting facility and maintain a secondary internet connection. In an extended outage, calls can be diverted to a mobile number until service is restored. We'll walk you through your resilience options during setup.

Can I move to another VoIP provider later?

Yes, absolutely. We export your full configuration, call recordings, and contact data on request. Your DDI numbers can be ported out. Your data is yours — always.

Do you offer 24/7 support?

We offer email support with a response within one business day for standard issues. Critical outages are prioritised and we aim to respond same-day. We're a small local team — honest about that — but you'll always reach a real person, not a bot.

What phones do I need?

None, if you don't want them. The free Zoiper softphone app works on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. If you prefer desk phones, compatible handsets start from around £40 — we can supply and pre-configure them, or you can source your own.

Is there a contract?

No minimum contract. Rolling monthly billing with 30 days written notice to cancel. The setup fee is one-off and non-refundable once work has begun, but there is no ongoing lock-in.

Does ISDN really switch off in 2027?

Yes — Openreach confirmed the PSTN/ISDN switch-off is scheduled for January 2027. This affects all traditional landline and ISDN connections across the UK. If your business still uses a BT landline or ISDN system, you need to migrate to VoIP before then. We handle that migration free as part of your setup.
